Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a thing, but it's still amazing how they can believe that the system is totally rigged for Biden,
yet the Democrats apparently didn't care about rigging the system in 2016 (I know, I know, the answer is apparently they just believed the polls, but... why wouldn't that have been an issue this year too when the polls were off?) and didn't care about actually electing the Democratic legislatures they need to push Biden's scary far-left agenda.

Larry Sanger has
posted a link to a news story about the nearly 90,000 people currently accusing the Boy Scouts of past sexual abuse. (Yes, that's 90,000 cases. Not a typo.) Sanger's take on the situation?
Poor, poor Boy Scouts. They were a great org for learning manly skills and making loyal friends who could take care of themselves but were happy to help, too. Destroyed from within by a deadly combo of progressive politics and—no surprise—now child abuse.
I can't think of many organizations that are
less progressive than the Boy Scouts. They have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 20th Century, but progressive they ain't. And this is sexual abuse of young boys that goes back decades and decades. Sanger seems to prefer ranting about imaginary celebrity pedophile rings than accepting the very real horrors that the Boy Scouts of America ignored and abetted.
Like the Catholic Church, it's highly variable how progressive or not your troop or parish is. But while it might be giving Sanger too much credit, I don't think he's downplaying the sex abuse stuff, just saying (as I agree) that it's a shame an organization that does a lot of good (like with the Church, I might not agree with a lot of it but I do credit it for being a positive force in my life) is getting wrecked by their self-inflicted failure to deal with a serious problem.*
*Ironically the Catholic Parishes when I was growing up were much more aggressive about child protection policies with their organizations than the Protestant troops, which caused a lot of friction in the scouts because of the "treat me like a criminal" aspects of the policies (getting fingerprinted, etc.) Of all the faults with our troop, it's hard for me to imagine any of the adults being abusive, but of course I imagine that's what most people think about the adults in their orbits.
