Primefac, with respect, it would be much more beneficial to the culture here if we did not just leave it at that. Opposing and refusing to explain yourself when asked is not only a behavior that is specifically articulated as a form of disruptive editing, but in this context it is tantamount to a p...

Re: Graham87 still making involved blocks
The sense that Jake and the Grump are using for WP:INVOLVED is the sense that actually exists. The problem is long-term *disputes* in an area, not simply participation. And that diff is an absurd reach. It wasn't a problematic edit or a dispute, it was a simple revert five years ago. It would be li...

Re: Graham87 still making involved blocks
AndytheGrump and Jake, I meant WP:INVOLVED in the sense that he is involved as a long time editor on Triangle inequality.
See the last 500 edits of the article. He made 16 edits.
In fact his own editing on this article has been problematic per this revert made by some other editor.

If true, the main factor must be apparent lack of prominent English language websites about those 'small cities' of Europe.

Graham87 still making involved blocks
Do any of you remember this thread from a few months ago?
Looking here, it seems that things have only gotten worse.
Graham87 engages in edit war with a user by abusing rollback and then blocks him. He revokes talk page access after the user correctly alleges him of violating WP:INVOLVED.

Pretty effective ambush here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard#Site_ban_proposal:_SashiRolls . Amazing that what kicked this off was a bad partial block by El C for "edit warring," (despite not breaking 3RR). I've seen El C write many times that "you need to ha...

They love going after highly productive editor like Rich Farmbrough who is abiding by the core policies of Wikipedia. You'll get no argument from me on that score, but in this case we're not really talking about "core policies," we're talking about a rather specific editing restriction, are we not?...

I sort of agree with the OP here. Wikipedia has now become too much about politically motivated blocks. If Govindaharihari was more active in propagating leftist views or at least smearing biographies of some right wingers, I guess he could get away from any of those "personal attacks" given we have...

Lots of Wikipedians generate WP:BITE complaints, but very few are doxxed to this extent by "news" sites, even heavily-biased right-wing news sites like OpIndia.com. And I'm not seeing any clear cause-and-effect between the WP:BITE complaints and the doxxing — it looks like OpIndia.com went after hi...

At least Conservapedia lives up to its name. Rationalwiki often does not. BrillLyle was also banned alongside Galaxyharrylion, a mostly Chinese editor who in the year before his ban acted incivil. I can't edit my post but I can still sa...

WMF don't normally step in to minor local conflabs like the initial offence, so it's obvious they have taken umbrage at something other than that. They don't normally ban people without at least some good reason and those that do normally have extensive block logs first. Have you considered that yo...
