Wikimedia Foundation revenue, expenses and assets

Wikimedia Foundation revenue, expenses and assets have steadily risen since the Foundation was first established as a Section 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. So far, revenue has always substantially exceeded expenditure in each year, and the Foundation has built up healthy reserves, standing at about $27.7 million in mid-2012, equivalent to one year's expenditure at 2011–2012 spending levels.
