The issue appears to be centered around promotional, copyrighted images being uploaded onto Commons, which only accepts free images. I don't believe that this is about politics.

A link would be cool. I'm really bad at Twitter.HRIP7 wrote:Replied on Twitter.
In the real world, sometimes one's perception of reality can become as important as the reality being observed. For example, Jimmy Wales perceived that SOPA was a threat to Wikipedia, and so SOPA became a threat to Wikipedia.Michaeldsuarez wrote:The issue appears to be centered around promotional, copyrighted images being uploaded onto Commons, which only accepts free images. The Twitter account is also linked to the Facebook page. So you can tweet manually, but anything posted on the Facebook page automatically triggers a tweet as well. (If any of you have Twitter accounts, please start following it.)

Call me stubborn, but I want to wait until we've exhausted attempts to regain control of the "Wikipediocracy" Facebook and Twitter nomenclature, and I haven't even begun to try with Twitter's management. (I have started the process on Facebook, however.)HRIP7 wrote:(If any of you have Twitter accounts, please start following it.)

Sure. We can begin to build a following though, and then, when it's time, just rename the account. You get to keep your followers when you rename.thekohser wrote:Call me stubborn, but I want to wait until we've exhausted attempts to regain control of the "Wikipediocracy" Facebook and Twitter nomenclature, and I haven't even begun to try with Twitter's management. These three users seem to dislike Alec_Baldwin_2,_2010.jpg for some reason.

It appears as if Alec Baldwin was paying agents to change the image on his article. This is a photo that i Aurore Ankarcrona, as his publicist, personally took of Raul during the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas. (username AEAA) This is the photo he would like to use for his page.

I think Aurore's best approach going forward would be to synch up with Jimbo, and ask him to help her out.Michaeldsuarez wrote:...Aurore Ankarcrona, as his publicist...
