In the old days, I suspect this employment history might have raised a few eyebrows.I have also worked for the CIA and the TA.
Seems less insane than the average admin.
Hello, John. John, hello. You're the one soul I would come up here to collect myself.

Yes, co-nommed by Amory and Vanamonde. He's a good chap; I'd vote for him. Of course, there are always grumps.Jans Hammer wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 10:18 pmlink

Ritchie333 inevitably involved in the nomination.
Oppose
I cannot in good faith support a nomination where the number one reason the nominee will be a good admin is that they have a record of agreeing with others at AfD. - CaptainEek

And I'd be one of those "grumps". I agree with Steel1943's comment in the Neutral section, that there's something not quite right with this nomination. A bit suspicious that he suddenly remembered another alternate account he'd forgotten to reveal up front; I wonder how many more he's forgotten about?Poetlister wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 4:07 pmYes, co-nommed by Amory and Vanamonde. It wasn't an alternative account, his main account was renamed.Eric Corbett wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 5:18 pmAnd I'd be one of those "grumps". All the same, he forgot to mention it. What else has he forgotten?Ritchie333 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 6:42 pmIt wasn't an alternative account, his main account was renamed.Eric Corbett wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 5:18 pmAnd I'd be one of those "grumps". Eric being grumpy? Unheard of! There's probably a simple explanation for the omission; WP:AGF.

WP:AGF is a pretty dumb idea when the evidence clearly points in one direction.Poetlister wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 9:02 pmEric being grumpy? Unheard of! There's probably a simple explanation for the omission; WP:AGF.

Whatever, the community doesn't seem worried. He's now 110/3/2; the third oppose is just "per Chess".
