For those interested in James Heilman's amazing efforts to improve medical articles and who have a few hours to spare, this discussion is worth a look.

( Had this as a post in 'Money Trail' but moving it here. The videos are going, but the promotion aspect is still being discussed)

Quality issues have come up a few times, but criticism of the videos only really reached a boil with a thread on Jimbo's talk page started on March 26.

Since the 26th, the drama around the videos has grown substantially. In the discussion, SarahSV unpacks - ties between Osmosis and Wiki Project Med Foundation, Osmosis’ trumpeting of a wikipedia partnership and pageviews, and an Osmosis grant application for $100,000 from the Wikimedia Foundation. It is also revealed that "The Osmosis co-founder Shiv Gaglani made the Forbes "30 under 30" list last year" with mention of his uncanny ability to get content views.

With an RFC on Osmosis showing little support for keeping the videos, Docjames has stated that he is now deleting the videos and ending the collaboration with Osmosis.

Doc James has again demonstrated he can't string together two or more sentences without errors in spelling, grammar or punctuation.

Is his handwriting legible? That would be one up on most doctors! :D
