The bra-men of Wikipedia are back (again)
The bra-men of Wikipedia are back (again)
Here we go again, an obsessive bra article with a load of dodgy health content and strange obsession with pain (among other things):
* Bralessness (T-H-L)
It's pretty hard to find content in this article which isn't cringe-making. I despair, I really do ...

Re: The bra-men of Wikipedia are back (again)
Originally started as a draft in 2016 by Btphelps (T-C-L) under a totally different topic. In 2018, it was overwritten to be primarily about an anti-bra feminist movement in the San Francisco area and related stories.
It's definitely a notable topic but disappointing that it changed from an article primarily about a feminist movement into something more... gratuitous. Btphelps hasn't touched it since June 2020, by which point it looked more like it does today.

Not enough pictures. Surely there’s a Commons category or two that could be dumped in there.

Re: The bra-men of Wikipedia are back (again)
Didn't seem worth starting a new topic, but I happened to check in on Btphelps and saw that he was deadnaming a relative of his:
I guess Btphelps was possibly related to Alan Raph (T-H-L):In 1978 he married musician Mary Ann O'Connor, with whom he had a daughter Alanna, who transitioned to Jason.
You'll never guess who started Ted Raph (T-H-L).Picture of Alan Raph
Hi Jason, I'm so sorry to learn of Alan's passing. He sent me a CD of the Danbury Brass Band earlier this year. If you would like to add his picture or more details to his article, please click on my signature and contact me. I am Jane Beasley and Ted Raph's nephew. Note it contains “His father's surname was changed by immigration authorities during registration when he entered the U.S.,” always a hallmark of sound scholarship.Giraffe Stapler wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 6:05 amDidn't seem worth starting a new topic, but I happened to check in on Btphelps and saw that he was deadnaming a relative of his:I guess Btphelps was possibly related to Alan Raph (T-H-L):In 1978 he married musician Mary Ann O'Connor, with whom he had a daughter Alanna, who transitioned to Jason.You'll never guess who started Ted Raph (T-H-L).Picture of Alan Raph
