Seamus McMullan creates songs about complex human experience strung over hauntingly sparse accompaniment. He makes his vocal style and poetry the centerpiece of his visceral performances, and his debut album "Distant Roots" can be found on iTunes and Amazon.com.
Joining Seamus tonight are, in alphabetical order:
• Shane Cariffe, an up-and-coming talent who mixes comedy and music into a lively, original brand of entertainment.
• Lindley Farley, a New York filmmaker whose police action thriller “The Bulls Night Out” is being re-released on iTunes.
• Gregory Kohs, columnist for Examiner.com and publisher of MyWikiBiz, who shares the dirty secrets of the popular Wikipedia website – including highly questionable behavior by some Wikipedia editors involving the article on Crisco!
• Ron Kosakowski, owner of Practical Self Defense Training Center in Waterbury, Connecticut, who will provide input on martial arts education.
Plus, new music from Jonathan Siksay and assorted inanity from Phil Hall, all brought together by the one and only Peter Pinho! Live, unscripted and uncensored on PPRNLiveRadio.com!
I believe that I'll be on for about 15-20 minutes, starting sometime after 9:15 PM Eastern time.
Presumably, listeners can call in on 203.992.7776.

How do they even get people to agree to be interviewed? They must count on the fact that nobody has ever actually listened to the show. At least with Howard Stern, they try to insert the SFX shots between the answers and the questions, they don't just interrupt the person at random. If that had been me, I couldn't have maintained my train of thought, and I would have hung up after 90 seconds or so.

Yes, he did come off as sounding knowledgable, rationale and impartial. Would have been more interesting had the subject veered towards Wales and the WMF, but the hosts were more interested in fisting.

Go the Kohs!
I hope you kept a recorded copy of your performance for distribution to radio and tv networks. I'm sure it was good enough to interest lots of presenters looking to fill in time. A pro like you must have done that.

Er, this is one of those that one lets collect dust in the corner and hopes that MSNBC and Fox News don't notice.

The Crisco(T-H-L) talkpage has a big banner saying:
Please be calm and civil when you make comments or when you present evidence, and avoid personal attacks. Please be patient as we work toward resolution of the issues in a peaceful, respectful manner.

Always interesting to hear a voice associated with a screen name, sort of like reading the novel then seeing the movie. In this case, it sounded just as I imagined. And those were the worst sound effects I have ever heard. Something tells me their clientele has a short attention span.

Indeed. I kept thinking of how an AN/I conversation would go if made into a radio drama.

That should be added automatically at the top of every talk page.

It takes a little probing to find out, as the controversy has been hidden. Still, the sooner new editors learn that almost anything on Wikipedia can lead to violent controversy, the better.
