Wikipedia and the Deep, Dark Web
This is mostly an entry about User:Deku-shrub (T-C-L), who has written a fair amount of content about the Dark Web on Wikipedia, despite his being a convicted sex offender IRL.
As usual, apologies for going for so long between new blog posts.

Re: Wikipedia and the Deep, Dark Web
Great post.
They actually blocked two people who tried to bring more attention to Austin instead of blocking Austin LMFAO. It's an absolute waste of time going through their regular "approved" channels. The only way to get them to act is by making their ineptitude public in this manner. And while we don’t necessarily mind writing these blog entries, we can at least say that informing the WMF directly about such individuals has generally been a waste of time. In the past they’ve taken months to ban editors whose conduct raises serious concerns in this regard, and they’ve also completely ignored another editor profiled here.

Deku-shrub (T-C-L) is still editing, despite this blog post being around for more than a month. He sometimes edits using his "corporate VPN", according to this unblock request by him: link. By the way, Alexis Jazz (T-C-L), mentioned in the blog post as someone who defended linking to websites that sell and trade child pornography as long as they didn't host any themselves, is also a fool over at Commons, where he was spotted defending a known paedophile "artist": link and was making hairsplitting distinctions between a "pedophile" and a "pedosexual": link. He also voted Keep on an image of likely revenge porn: link and was told he was being an idiot about it by a user who had morals and brains, both of which Alexis Jazz appears to lack: link.
