Not really sure if this warrants a thread, but did anyone watch last night's Have I Got News for You?

Ian Hislop complained about how the Wikipedia page for the Piers Gaveston Society (T-H-L) falsely alleged that he was a member. He said he'd received a flood of press calls as a result of the Wikipedia page. His name was removed from the list of alleged members after the show. The claim was sourced to two passing mentions in the press years ago. I thought it was quite a nice example of the consequences of reckless wikipedia editing in the wake of a scandal.

David Cameron is still shown as an alleged member, even though
With Valentine Guinness, one of the founders of the Piers Gaveston Society, telling Mr S’s colleague Toby Young that Cameron was never a member of the society, this initiation ceremony story may warrant an apology of its own in due course.
