The fad for having three Admins close contentious debates appears to be over. It seems they didn't do what people thought they did. They didn't offer any more legitimacy nor reduce the likelihood of challenges. What they did do was ensure three Admins spent the time of 3+ Admins to do the work of one Admin.

Wikipedia no longer has the resources for such extravagant systems of governance. This closure itself only came about because there's never an adult around when you need one these days. There are holdouts, fans of the Triads. But I see no future for them if it becomes a matter of merely playing dress up when you want to.
