I definitely agree that there should be a way to appeal ArbCom decisions. Although I'm not as critical of ArbCom as some people are, I do think they have too much power for a body of only about a dozen people. The obvious reason this feature hasn't been made is because users are able to interact for the purposes of content collaboration. People making drama aren't a proper part of a wiki, just an inherent problem.

Someone floated the idea recently to encourage as many people as possible to oppose all of the candidates in order to prevent enough of them to reach 50%, and thus force a "constitutional crisis".
