I do remember a conversation between us in the Pendrel's Oak around September 2019 which pretty much stopped me from quitting Wikipedia, so thanks must especially go to that.

There's an article here Australian Dictionary of Biography (T-H-L). Assuming it's the Australian equivalent of the Dictionary of National Biography (T-H-L), it's probably generally reliable, although there have been criticisms of bias and lack of updates.

The roads people are among the most insane on en.wp. Yeah, but come on, Wikipedia does need in-depth coverage of all the major areas of human knowledge... Arts, Sciences, Humanities, Roads... It also doesn’t need people who flounce when others disagree with them or consensus doesn’t go their way.
